Abstract


Muhyî-i Gülşenî’nin “Menâkıb-ı İbrâhîm-i Gülşenî”sinde Karabağ’a Dair İzlenimler

Muhyi-i Gülşeni, whose origin is Iran, gives information about İbrahim-i Gülşeni, the founder of the Gülşeni branch of the Halveti sect, in the legend he wrote. In the legend, the life of İbrahim-i Gülşeni, his education, his duties, the places he visited, and his scientific activities are mentioned. The author’s grandfather, known as "Muhyi-i Gülşeni" because he is affiliated with the Gülşeni sect, and who draws attention with his knowledge in Edirne, is the disciple of İbrahim-i Gülşeni. The grandfather of Muhyi-i Gülşeni went to Kazvin because of the persecution of the people by the governor of Shiraz and he was killed by the Kızılbaş people, and then his father came to Edirne and settled in Edirne. Muhyi-i Gülşeni having received a good education, who wrote his work “Menakib-i İbrahim-i Gülşeni” in a poetry and prose mixed. It is recorded in the work that İbrahim-i Gülşeni went to Tabriz to get a good education. The duty of persuading the Karakoyunlu ruler Uzun Hasan to bring Dede Ömer Ruşeni to Tabriz, who had a great influence on his brother and who was engaged in the activities of guidance in Qarabagh, was given to İbrahim-i Gülşeni. In the book, information about Qarabagh and its surroundings was given through the eyes of İbrahim-i Gülşeni who went to Qarabagh. Dede Ömer Ruşeni played an important role in Qarabagh having a very strong Sufi culture. İbrahim-i Gülşeni is attached to Dede Ömer Ruşeni after his first meeting. Ruşeni comes to Tabriz after spending the winter in Qarabagh. Ruşeni comes to Tabriz after spending the winter in Qarabagh. Extraordinary changes occur in İbrahim-i Gülşeni, who returns to Tabriz after the interview with Dede Ömer Ruşeni. Between the lines of the legend, it is understood that Qarabagh was an important education center with madrasas, a place used by state administrators as a summer or winter quarters. Qarabagh; it is described as an important region that has become a center of attraction with its horses, air, water and natural beauties. In the legend, Qarabagh, where religious debates arising from differences of sects and sects were held, has also been the ground for a political conflict. The strategic feature of the region, which is a conflict area between the Ottoman Empire and the Karakoyunlu State of Turkish origin from time to time, also draws attention. However, this struggle between Fatih and Uzun Hasan is not mentioned in the legend.
