Among literary texts, mesnevi are important works that serve as a source for those who steal history and reinforce interdisciplinary information exchange. As a result of detailed studies on masnavis, it is possible to access a wide variety of cultural, economic, social and social information sources. Especially after the Mongol invasion, there are masnavis written during the settlement of Turkmens in Anatolia, their homeland, the reflection of Turkish identity from past to present, the protection of spiritual values, the formation of unity and solidarity. The most well-known of these works is Mevlânâ Celaleddin -i Rumi’s work called Mesnevi-i Ma’nevi. While there is no clear information about when the Persian work, which consists of approximately 25,700 couplets and six volumes, was written, as a result of the evaluations, it is determined that it corresponds to the last ten to fifteen years of Mevlânâ ’s life. Therefore, Mevlânâ Celaleddin -i Rumi, one of the source works of the Turkish thought world, placed Islam and Sufism at the center in his work and tried to understand and explain the problems, culture, daily life, social environment, history and Turkmen life of the Anatolian people. It is seen that he narrates the events experienced in his period, based on his problems. In this study, evaluations will be made on the information obtained about Turkmen and Turkish culture by examining the stories in Mevlânâ Celaleddin -i Rumi’s work called Mesnevi-i Ma’nevi, which he wrote by exemplifying the life, tolerance, pain and character of the Turkmens and their daily lives. Thus, literary texts can shed light on Turkish history, and identity and historical process can be analyzed through the daily events and narratives of the period.
