The aim of this study is to reveal the order of importance of the factors affecting the psychological resilience of preschool children. For this purpose, the study was conducted within the scope of the relational research model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. The sample of the study consists of 366 children aged 60 months and over who attended preschool education institutions in the Yenimahalle district of Ankara in the 2020-2021 academic year. "General Information Form" and "Social Emotional Well-being and Psychological Resilience Scale for Preschool Children-PERIK" were used as data collection tools. CHAID analysis, one of the classification analysis methods, was preferred in the analysis of the data. The reason for this is that CHAID analysis allows the order of importance of the factors that have an effect on psychological resilience. According to the research results, the gender and age of the children, the number of siblings, the type of school they attend, the education level and employment status of their mothers were determined as important factors affecting the psychological resilience of children. In addition, when the sub-dimensions related to psychological resilience are considered, it has been determined that the most important factor affecting children's communication, self-control, emotional stability and task orientation scores is gender, and it has been found to be particularly in favor of girls. It has been determined that the most important factor affecting assertiveness and enjoyment of exploration scores is age, and older children score higher in these dimensions. The research results reveal important factors that need to be considered in children's environmental support systems, family structures and educational processes in order to strengthen psychological resilience.
