Abstract

Eski Anadolu Türkçesi Dönemi “Mülk Suresi Tercümesi” Eserinden Hareketle, Eşdizim Sözlük Önerisi

Old Anatolian Turkish is the period of Turkish language that developed between the 13th and 15th centuries. In Anatolia, the most widely read short surah translations among Turks were translated into Turkish in this period and the translators preferred the plain language used by the people in their translations to correspond to the Arabic terms. By examining the translations of short suras, it can be revealed how Turkish language, which has entered a new cultural basin, assimilated the borrowed words in the earlier times. In addition, the words in the spoken language were chosen in these works, and since the source is a sacred text, special attention was paid to the translations and a simple language was used. In order to evaluate the period correctly, to form the Oghuz written language, to evaluate the stage of the re-establishment of Turkish civilization correctly, and to follow the development of the Turkish language, the vocabulary of the short-term translations of the Old Anatolian Turkish period should be revealed and a collocation dictionary should be prepared. In this respect, in our study, the collocation dictionary example of “Mulk Surah Translation”, one of the works of the Old Anatolian Turkish period, was prepared on the basis of the first five-leaf part. Thus, a text-based method proposal and a semantic dictionary study were carried out in determining the historical vocabulary of Turkish language.
