The word hani, which developed from the Old Turkish ?anı form, is shown in the Turkish Dictionary as "where, what happened, where did it stay" and as a word that is generally used as an adverb in grammar books. Where is the word in some dictionaries and grammar books, reminding, reminding the promise, at least, longing, in some cases to reject an idea that may come to mind, in other words, to avoid an idea that may come to him, to draw attention to the next word, to be honest, it remained. which, moreover, is given with the meanings of giving a question to a word or strengthening the questioning in the word, why, reproaching, asking, mocking, drawing attention, getting excited, wondering and possibility. This word has different uses besides this basic meaning and function. It is noteworthy that this word is used in the meanings such as example, assumption, confirmation, support, reminder, especially in daily speech. In this study, it will be tried to show in which meaning/meanings the word hani is used through some songs and folk songs in Turkey Turkish. Thus, through these sources, which are important data of the oral language, it will be tried to determine the different meaning features of the word hani in the spoken and written language, if any, and to determine the examples that overlap or differ with the meaning and functions specified in the sources by looking at the usages of this word in today's Turkey Turkish. In the study, a total of 14 songs and folk songs (Konyalı Türküsü, Böyle Ayrılık Olmaz, Hani Bekleyecektin, Hani O Bırakıp Giderken Seni, Hani (1), Hani (2), Hani Benim Gençliğim, Hani Sevduğum Hani, Hani (3), Hani (4), Gemilerde Talim Var, Hani Yaylam, Hani (5), İşte Öyle Bir Şey) were compiled, these songs and folk songs were listed first and data about that song and/or folk song were added under each song and/or folk song. It has been observed that some evaluations have been made on the word hani in terms of meaning, etymology and word type in some dictionaries and grammar books, but no detailed language research has been made on the sources of this word. In this study, it is aimed to contribute to the field through songs and folk songs containing the word hani in Turkey Turkish. Accordingly, the examples of the word hani, which is evaluated according to its semantic features in the analyzed texts, can be shown as follows.
