Abstract

Çağdaş Şairin Gözünden Klasik Şiire Bakış: Ebubekir Eroğlu’nun Gelenek Algısı ve “Aldı Nevi” Şiirinin Zemin Şiirle Mukayesesi

From the middle of the 19th century, literary humans in Turkey had started the process of breaking their connections with divan poetry and prose by seeking new literature to adapt to the changing world, and this process of breaking had continued until the 1950s. After the 1950s, poets such as Behçet Necatigil, Sezai Karakoç, Hilmi Yavuz preferred to benefit from the aesthetic power of the tradition instead of breaking away from divan literature by considering that the origins of Turkish literature are based on divan literature. One of today’s poets, Ebubekir Eroğlu, as a poet benefited from this aesthetic power, not only makes use of divan poetry but also becomes the contemporary voice of divan poets by reproducing the tradition. Ebubekir Eroğlu wrote contemporary nazires to divan poets with his poems titled “Aldılar”. These poems, which will be evaluated in the context of intertextuality, are like the reproduced form of tradition in today’s world. A comparative analysis of the poems will provide a better understanding of both the tradition and these poems. In this study, after explaining how Eroğlu is benefited from the meaning world of divan poetry, the poet’s poem titled “Aldı Nevi” will be analyzed comparatively with Nevi’s ghazal with “gice” rhyme.
