The aim of this study is to determine the tendencies of the articles published in SCI-Expanded, SSCI and A&HCI indexed journals called Class-A in the field of teaching Turkish as a second/foreign language. In this direction, all issues of Education and Science, Bilig and National Folklore journals, which are accepted as Class-A journal in our country, were examined and 34 articles in accordance with the research target were identified. The research is designed according to the document analysis method with a qualitative approach. Articles were subjected to descriptive content analysis according to the journal, publication year, number of authors, nationality of authors, publication language, number of research questions, number of references referenced, research approach/ design/ method, sample level/ number/ selection method, data collection tools/ method used and data analysis method, themes and topics, objectives and results. As a result of the analyzes, the articles were mostly published in Bilig journal and mostly in 2014; mostly by Turkish writers, with a single author and written in Turkish; most of them do not include research questions and the number of references consulted in most of them is over 20; most of them adopt a qualitative research approach; where a large proportion of documents are used as samples, the sample sizes are mostly over 100 and the purposive sampling method is often preferred; it was determined that it prioritized questionnaires in the collection of data and descriptive statistics in the analysis of the data. It was determined that the articles focused on Turkish, Turkish culture and the situation/ attitude/ preference towards Turkey as a theme and topic. Finally, the results of the research were discussed and suggestions were made.
