Knowing/notifying the purpose for which the Works/writings were produced and/or why they were written is important in terms of presenting-determining the allegory of the work and transmitting-receiving its message. The reason or purpose found in sections in the works is implied as a representative metaphor in some works. Works have explicit or secret/implicit message(s). This message(s) can be reached through the expression, expression, style determination and analysis of the text in the work that emerges as a cause-effect or purpose-effect. As a part of the works, at the beginning or at the end, explicit or implicit information about the reasons for writing, purposes, reasons and processes can be accessed. As a part, the expressions explaining the “reason for writing” in the preface or in the following parts of the work are a phenomenon that can be encountered in many verse-prose/prose works in Classical/Old Turkish Literature. In a prose work written in Classical Turkish literature, the “reason for writing” can be as a separate or special section, or it can be the preface itself, or it can be included in the prologue. This section/chapter, which is called “sebeb-i telif: Reasons of Copyright”, can be seen with similar names and connotations. In this part, information about the purpose of the work, the writing process, the writing adventure, type, subject, content, allegory, writing style, and writing language are presented. It is possible for the author to engage in poetic discussions in these parts/chapters of the work. Author's thoughts on poetry, poet and art, literary taste, understanding, tendencies and perception of the period/age; These sections, where information about the social and political planes of the period can be found, have a kind of “poetic” shape. Reason for writing may contain important data that will illuminate the history of literature. The stages, processes and reflections of the literary world of the period, with works belonging to the author or someone else, are among the issues that can be seen in reason for writing. This article is a supplement to the work of establishing an analysis method for reason for writing based on many previous texts and academic research. In the study, various questions were asked about how these sections could be analyzed, and in a sense, a road map and analysis method were determined under which main headings the reasons for writing can be analyzed. Even if this section is not present in the work, it is also possible for the researcher to make an inference by asking these questions or some of them to the whole work.
