Klasik Türk Edebiyatında Metin Şerhi, Metin Tahlili, Metin Tenkidi ve Uygulamalı Bir Örneği

The issue of how literary texts should be examined has long been one of the issues that literary researchers have thought about the most. The prerequisite of text analysis in the field of classical Turkish literature is text formation. After the text formation, text commentary, text analysis and text criticism follow each other as text analysis methods. Commentary and analysis are explanatory methods that explain the text. Criticism, on the other hand, aims to reveal the aesthetic value of a text, that is, its literary value. Text commentary is the oldest known text analysis method since classical Turkish literature products began to be revealed. In the commentary, words and phrases that are thought to be incomprehensible to the reader are explained. While a method for breaking up the whole is followed in the text commentary, text analysis takes place in the form of interpreting a text holistically. While there is the interpretation of the person who explains the text in the text analysis, there are no comments in the commentary. Text criticism, on the other hand, expresses the state of liking or disliking a literary text according to certain criteria. In this study, first of all, theoretical information on commentary, analysis and criticism has been given, then, in the application part, a ghazal of Azmî-zâde Hâletî was commented on and analyzed, and then it was analyzed and criticized in a structuralist context.
