When the historical course of Turkish poetry is taken into consideration, the Tanzimat edict and the innovations brought by it can be taken as milat. The 17th Turkish modernization initiative. when we think that it dates back to the 19th century, in addition to military, economic and economic innovations. with the addition of cultural and legal innovations in the century, our literature has also taken the orbit of a new circle of civilization. The ability to establish a form based on its own norms has been lost in the field of civilization, and efforts to develop a form by referring to the theories and ideologies of the West have shown themselves. There is no longer a civilization phenomenon that references Islamic sources. From now on, instead of a concept of civilization based on Islamic perspectives and the literary form projected by it, there is a literary model in which the cultural codes belonging to the West are adopted. Starting from the Tanzimat, the Turkish modernization, which continued until the Republican period and even the Single-Party government, has made its impact strongly felt in the context of literature. The fact that the facts belonging to the West remained at the imitation level, as a matter of fact, brought the modernization crisis with it, and an effort to return to their own civilization dynamics began to the extent of poets such as Sezai Karakoç.
