Abstract


1960’lı Yıllar Azerbaycan Hikâyelerinin Konusu Üzerine Bir İnceleme

The years of the 1960s and 1970s constitute a special and very important stage in the development of Azerbaijani literature in the 20th century. In this period, literature changes incomparably with the previous stages, and progresses in line with new content and ideas. This period also means a qualitatively new stage of literature. At this stage, as in every stage, literature has been shaped according to the basic idea of society. After the death of Stalin, socio-political events around the world began to be heard in the Soviet Union, and literature was also affected by these changes, as in every field. Literature got rid of the chains of the totalitarian regime and entered the free period. One of the important features of this period is the entry of young writers into literature. Anar Rızayev, Elçin Efendiyev, Ekrem Eylisli, Isi Melikzade etc. writers represented this generation of young writers. Although the subjects they dealt with were similar, each writer examined these subjects from an artistic point of view and conveyed them to the society. The genre that writers who wrote in various genres used the most was the story. Although the type of story is short, it is one of the most important genres to be written because it contains big issues and is short. The writers of this period were presenting the topics they chose to the readers by dealing with the type of story. The authors did not depict Soviet reality, but made it the subject and object of artistic judgment. Therefore, his work was more critical. In these works, the author’s stance and attitude towards life events had an ambiguous effect. In addition, the socio-political events of the period were examined, and after Stalin’s death, the political changes in the world and how these changes affected literature were analyzed.
