Dictionary writing dates back to the very ancient times of human history. Dictionaries have developed and changed in terms of form, genre, etc., from the first examples to the present day. It is known that, while the linguistic elements that have changed over time have a share in this, different elements also play a role in accordance with the needs required by the age in which we live. One of these factors, which are effective in change and development, is the emergence of the discipline of lexicography, in which knowledge and theories about dictionaries are produced, and which enables the development of dictionary writing by taking it under a discipline. Lexicography, which undertakes the evaluation of dictionaries, which have a wide variety of examples in different languages for centuries, under a branch of science, undertakes an important task in the scientific examination of dictionaries, illuminating their insufficient points and revealing an ideal dictionary. Along with the researches on lexicography in the world, various lexicographic studies have been done and are being carried out on the dictionaries that provide the formation of the Turkish lexicography tradition. The number of studies on this subject has increased especially in recent years. In order to determine the direction of these studies, which can be evaluated under the name of Turkish lexicography, bibliography studies have been made on this subject. The latest bibliography study covers the researches up to 2016. This study was carried out in order to identify the researches from 2016 to the present. In this study, efforts were made to compile researches containing metalexicographic information, and all identified studies were classified on a yearly basis. It has been observed that the number of researches has increased even more in the years when scientific activities such as symposiums and congresses related to this field were held.
