Words generally have a dynamic structure. Change of human needs, interaction, technological developments, etc. for many reasons, it is seen that words have changed over time, fallen out of use, new words have been derived, and borrowed words from other languages. This situation was not the same in all word types. Some of the words have preserved their existence for many years, while others have completed their useful life for various reasons. In this study, the appearance of monosyllabic verbs in Kutadgu Bilig, one of the important works of Islamic Turkish literature, in New Uyghur Turkish has been tried to be revealed. Issues such as how many of the monosyllabic verbs in Kutadgu Bilig live in New Uyghur Turkish, whether there is a sound change in the verbs, whether the verbs preserve their basic meanings are tried to be clarified and numerical data about the verbs are presented. In addition, the appearance of monosyllabic verbs witnessed in Kutadgu Bilig in Khwarezm Turkish, Kipchak Turkish and Chagatay Turkish is also shown. Thus, the status of these verbs in Kutadgu Bilig, written in 1069-1070, in the historical processes up to the New Uyghur Turkish was stated and it was possible for researchers to see the historical adventure of verbs.
