16. Kara Fazli, the poet of the century, is one of the Classical Turkish Literature poets of the period of Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent (1520-1566). In this study, the life of Kara Fazli and his entry into the sect are briefly described, his works are examined and introduced. The main sufi traditions in the Kara Fazli Divan, which constitutes the main section, are explained and their use in sample couplets is shown. Thus, the depth that Sufism adds to the world of meaning in poems has been tried to be revealed. The main source of our study is Mustafa Özkat’s Master’s Thesis named Kara Fazlî’s Life, Works, Literary Personality and Divan (Examination-Criticized Text) and Lale Javanshir’s notice titled Fazli Çelebi’s Takti’at and Some Ghazals Not Included in Her Organized Divan. Bunu Google’da arIn Kara Fazli’s Divan, there are a total of 2702 couplets consisting of 34 odes, 28 murabbas, 4 mukhammas, 3 müseddes, 1 muaşşar, 2 terkîb-i bend, 153 ghazals of 8 chronicles, 20 stanzas and verses 2 mufrad The poet entered the sect by intisab to Hasan Zarifi Efendi, one of the sheikhs of the Gulsheniyye branch of the Halvetiyye sect. Kara Fazli, who also has sufi poems in his Divan, has the Masnavi of Gül ü Bülbül, the Masnavi of Discoverer al-Arifin and the Rubais, which are declared to be around 1000, also have sufi characteristics. What makes this article important is that it is the first Sufi study about Kara Fazli’s Divan.
