Turkish literature has survived until today by continuing its existence in the field of both poetry and prose since pre-Islamic period. The longest period in the history of Turkish literature is the period of classical Turkish literature, which is now referred to with different names. In this period, poetry has particular importance. The most important types of literary works based on poetry in classical Turkish literature from the 13th century to the end of the 19th century are divans, masnavis and poetry journals. Among them, poetry journals, which have different composition features and content are of particular importance. Based on this importance, recently there has been a considerable increase in the number of postgraduate dissertations, scientific articles and books self-study on the poetry journals.
