Türkiye Türkçesinde Deyimleşmiş Birleşik Duygu Fiilleri

Most of the formulaic words in Turkish are idioms. Idioms, which have a wide range of usage, can also function as verbs by inflection during narration. An important part of these language units, which are called idiomized compound verbs, describe a mental movement rather than movement. One of the most important sub-components of these elements, which are considered as mental verbs or mental verbs, are emotional verbs. In this study, which was created with the aim of identifying and classifying the idiomized compund emotional verbs in Turkey Turkish, firstly, the concepts of phrase, idiom, compound verb, emotion and emotion verb were discussed, and then the emotional verb predicates obtained as a result of scanning various dictionaries were listed alphabetically. . The detected emotional verbs were subjected to a two-stage evaluation. In the first stage, the emotion expression of the verb was evaluated as positive (+) and negative (-), and in the second stage, the emotion that dominates the verb was determined in the context of basic emotions. In this study, 707 idiomized compound verbs with emotion expressions were identified. Of these verbs, some of which reflect more than one emotion, 201 (27.6%) are positive, 507 (69.6%) are negative, and 20 (2.7%) are both positive and negative emotional expressions depending on the context in which they are used. carries. In addition, 70 different emotions were identified in the verbs included in the study. In the resulting table, the weight of negative emotion verbs and negative emotions such as sadness, anger, fear draw attention. This situation reveals that in Turkish culture, positive emotions are expressed relatively more openly and negative emotions are expressed implicitly through metaphors.
