Abstract

Türkiye Türkçesi Ağızlarında “Topallık” Kavram Alanı

Conceptual field is a language domain theory that is based on the meaning of words and examines words that are similar to each other. Developed by the German linguist Jost Trier, this theory mostly deals with the aspects of words that complement each other in terms of synonyms, close meanings or meanings. According to the concept field theory, the conceptual value of words can only be determined within the field in which they are located. In this study, it has been tried to be determined conceptual field of “Lameness” in Turkish Dialects of Turkey and to be put forward the detected vocabulary collectively. Derleme Sözlüğü was used as a source work in the study. Vocabulary included in the conceptual field of lameness was determined by scanning the Derleme Sözlüğü. In addition to the Derleme Sözlüğü, various works related to dialects were also scanned, and the vocabulary that was not in the Derleme Sözlüğü was included in the study, too. In the study, after a short review section, an alphabetical list of the vocabulary included in the conceptual field of lameness is given. It is seen that the studies related to the Turkish Dialects of Turkey are mostly in the form of determining the sound and shape information characteristics of a certain oral region and determining the presence of speech. On the contrary, the studies in which the dialects are considered and examined thematically are quite limited. As a result of thematic studies related to the Turkish dialects of Turkey, the concept areas in the dialects will be determined. For this reason, there is a great need for thematic studies related to the Turkish dialects of Turkey.
