The subject of this study is the examination of a fathiyya, which is thought to be written by Hüseyin Nisarî Çelebi, who lived in the 17th century, with the nom de guerre “Nisarî” around the issue of integrity in divan poetry. It has been determined that this eulogy, which was found in the journal registered with the place number 853-M in the Reşid Efendi Section of the Süleymaniye Library and was written in fathiyya type, was written in the name of Shaykh al-Islam Yahya Efendi, one of the divan poets who lived in the 17th century, and that there is no information in the sources about this poem. In the study, the transliterated text of the eulogy, which consists of thirty-seven couplets registered with the title of “Kasîde-i Nisarî Efendi der-vasf-ı Yahya Efendi”, was established, translated into language, and then analyzed based on the data revealed on the issue of integrity in divan poetry. During the analysis of the ode, the relationship between the enjambment technique used in French poetry and the terms of consecutive verse and a consecutive couplet in divan poetry, and the concepts of “hem-var/yek-dest/ma‘mur” (poetry with a theme) in the poems of the divan poets and pointing to the unity in poetry are mentioned. After evaluating these terms, the ode written by Nisarî was analyzed around the related terms, and the poem’s integrity was analyzed. As a result, the existence of a conscious plan and subject integrity established by Nisarî in the eulogy has been determined. Based on Nisarî’s eulogy, aimed to contribute to the limited number of studies on the integrity issue in divan poetry, the thesis has been put forward that the poetic works put forward in divan literature should be evaluated with a holistic eye.
Ode, enjambment, consecutive verse, consecutive couplet, hem-var (poetry with a theme).
