Kyrgyz, who have a very strong cultural structure and literary tradition in Turkish societies, have experienced wars, oppressions and many negative situations over time, but these events have not prevented their national memories from forming, on the contrary, they have strengthened them. The Kyrgyz Turks, who have transferred their painful events from generation to generation by reflecting on numerous literary works, have managed to keep their cultural accumulation and identities alive until today without assimilation. The most basic element that ensures the customs, traditions and traditions of the Kyrgyz Turks to live without interruption and to keep the national memory alive is the family institution, which has a strong and solid structure. Kyrgyz Turks, who attach great importance and responsibility to women as well as men, have made women have a say in the family institution as well as in social life. The Kyrgyz woman, who grew up with a strong national consciousness, has succeeded in raising generations who know her history and culture in a difficult geography, under difficult conditions, by transferring this heritage and upbringing from her ancestors to her children. In this study, the importance of women in Kyrgyz epics and Cengiz Aytmatov's works, their self-sacrifice, upright stance, courage and heroism in difficult times are emphasized.
