Yabancılara Türkçe Öğretimi Okuma Metinlerinde Metinler Arası İlişkiler (C1 Seviyesi Örneği)

The aim of this study is to reveal and evaluate the intertextual relations in the reading texts of Turkish language teaching for foreigners. In the study, reading texts from Yedi İklim Turkish Language Teaching Set C1 level textbooks prepared by Yunus Emre Institute were determined as a sample. C1 level was chosen since the goal of "making intratextual and/or intertextual comparisons" was involved between being close to the last stage in providing language proficiency level and Program for Teaching Turkısh as a Foreign Language reading achievements of this level. In the study, data were collected by using document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods. Collaboration relations were taken as a criterion in the determination of intertextual relations. Headings were created for each relationship, and the texts were read more than once and the intertextual relations were determined with the help of similar studies in the literature. In order to ensure reliability, the findings were examined by a Turkish teacher and a Turkish education academician. As a result of the study, it was determined that the quotes were included mostly from the open relations and the hidden quotes were not included in the closed relations. In total, no intertextual relations were detected in 3 texts. It has been determined that the most inter-textual relations are established in the texts titled The Lamp Shivering Flame Is Cold, Numbers in Our Culture and Common Elements of Turkish-Bosnian Folk Culture.
