Hibrî Ali Efendi, one of the scholars of the 17th century Ottoman period, is originally from Kütahya. His father’s name is Mustafa, his grandfather’s name is Pir Mehmed, and he is also known as Bülbülzade. Ali Efendi, who left his hometown after completing his education, settled in Kızılhisar on the island of Eğriboz and died there. For this reason, the author, who is also known as Kızılhisarî, has written many works of copyright and translation, busy with scientific publications until the end of his life after settling in the aforementioned town. Considering the diversity and volumes of his existing works, Hıbrî Ali Efendi, who is seen to be a very productive scholar, also has a poetic aspect due to the poems he wrote. In this article, the unknown qasidas of Hıbrî Ali Efendi and the dates in the continuation of these qasidas will be emphasized. According to our research, there is no previous study on these qasidas, which are not mentioned in the sources giving information about the author. In the article, after giving information about the life and works of Hıbrî Ali Efendi, information was given about the people to whom the qasidas were presented, and then the aforementioned qasidas were examined. In these qasidas written for two statesmen who rose to the rank of vizier in the Ottoman period; It is seen that the author residing in Kızılhisar talks about his own life, the situation of Kızılhisar, Eğriboz Island and the successful defense of Eğriboz Island against the Venetians. For this reason, it is possible to reach some important information about the biography of the author, the places mentioned and the events of the period from the qasidas. In this respect, the study provides first-hand new information about the life and poems of Hıbrî Ali Efendi, and also provides some data on the Ottoman history and culture inventory of the period.
