This study introduces a treatise registered in Tire Necip Pasha Library, number 82, which is thought to have the linguistic features of Khwarezm Turkish. The treatise is located at the end of the work Al-Ishara bi-La?if al-?Ibara by ?Ali b. ?usayn al-Farabi on folios 196a - 197b. The subject of this small treatise is the different views of some scholars on the number of letters, verses and surahs in the Qur'an. In this context, the work is important for the expression of numbers with different place value. In this way, the treatise is intended to take its place among the works written in the historical Turkish language. First of all, the article written by Ahmet Ateş on the subject is mentioned in the study. The first section provides information about the manuscript, followed by the content and linguistic features of the treatise added to the last part of the manuscript. Based on the phonological features, morphological markers and vocabulary witnessed, an attempt has been made to identify the historical Turkic language in which the treatise was written. At the end of the article, the transcribed text and illustrations of the treatise are presented for the attention of researchers. With this study, an important text belonging to the historical periods of Turkish, which has not been analyzed and published before, has been revealed.
