Kırım Tatar Şairi Kerim Reşidov Camanaklı’nın Şiirlerinde “Kırım”

Kerim Camanaklı was borned in the Camanak village of Gözleve Town in 1905 in the period when the problems of centuries overlapped and the Crimean Turks were going through tough and painful processes. Camanaklı, who was born in such a compelling period and was accused of treason at some point in his life but despite of all this, proceed to contribute to Crimean Tatar philology, literature and Crimean Tatar youth without stopping, is productive poet both with his identity as a folklor researcher and with his lyrical socio-political protest poems. Camanaklı, who was separated from his family, siblings, homeland and compatriots for the most of his life, was very impressed by this atmosphere that dragged all the young Crimean Tatar poets, writers and intellectuals who lived at that time to the same feelings and with this influence he issued “Crimea” that is one of the most discussed topics of this painful period with many aspects in his works. In this article, Elfine Sibgatullina’s work, “Doğumunun Yüzüncü Yılında Kırım Tatar Folklorcusu Kerim Camanaklı”, was introduced to Turkish Turcology, but no detailed study was conducted on him later. He actually made great contributions to the formation of Crimean Tatar poetry and literature with his poems and scientific research, and systematically compiled Crimean Tatar folklore. After providing information about the life and literary personality of Kerim Reşidov Camanaklı, as a poet, Camanaklı’s view on “Crimea” will be examined based on selected poetry examples.
