Abstract


Öğretmenlerin Öz Duyarlıkları, Psikolojik Sağlamlıkları ve Yaşam Doyumu Düzeyleri Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

In this study, self-sensitivity, psychological resilience and life satisfaction of teachers working within the borders of Turkey in all types of schools and levels affiliated and not affiliated to the Ministry of National Education were examined. The sample of the study consisted of 352 teachers. Brief Psychological Resilience Scale (BPSS), Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and Self-Sensitivity Scale (SSS) were used as data collection tools. SPSS 22.0 program was used for data analysis. Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient technique was utilized to examine the relationships between self-sensitivity, psychological resilience and life satisfaction in teachers. According to the correlation analysis findings, there is a significant positive relationship between psychological resilience and life satisfaction. At the same time, it was determined that life satisfaction had significant relationships with the sub-dimensions of self-compassion, self-judgment, awareness of sharing, isolation, consciousness and over-identification. Similarly, psychological resilience is significantly related to the sub-dimensions of self-sensitivity of sharing, self-compassion, self-judgment, isolation, over-identification and consciousness. When the results of the regression analysis were examined, hierarchical regression analysis was applied to determine the predictive power of psychological resilience and self-compassion sub-dimensions on life satisfaction. According to the findings of the analysis performed in the first step, it was seen that life satisfaction was a significant predictor of psychological resilience, and the contribution of psychological resilience and self-judgment and overidentification, which are sub-dimensions of self-conscientiousness, to the model had a significant effect.
