Semiotic Analysis of Social Media Posts About Witch Victim Animals

When you look at society and cultures in human history, it seems that there are certain beliefs in almost every society. These beliefs are sometimes thought to have arisen within the framework of thinking that there are sometimes godly and spiritual forces to solve facts that man cannot conceive of. It is known that this curiosity for the unknown in this context is resorted to supernatural beliefs such as magic, ritual, and so on, as a result of beliefs that unresolvable problems will be solved by divine or spiritual beings. For these practices, it appears that psychics, witches, witches, demons, or teachers are used to communicate with spiritual beings. People who wish to cast spells under these applications are asked for a specific fee for these applications or materials to be used within the spell. These materials are known to be vegetable materials, as well as animal limbs or certain fragments taken from humans. Within the scope of this study, attention is drawn to animals used for magic. These spells, talismans, and rituals performed by psychics are also observed that animals are slaughtered violently or their particular limbs are amputated and released back into nature in a wounded manner. In this regard, social media posts that are prepared for people to end their grievances in the most effective and short manner within the framework of the social responsibility project are intended to make people aware. Ten social media posts intended to be shared on social media platforms were analyzed in an indicative way. These social media posts are based on Roland Barthes’analysis method; it was analyzed with straight meaning and side meaning size, and according to the findings of the analysis, psychics were observed to victimize animals for spells, talismans, and rituals.
