Periodicals are among the important sources for political history research as well as for literary history. Many intellectual and literary journals published in the early Republican years have very rich content in terms of presenting the social attention that has emerged in the relevant years. Periodicals based in Istanbul and Ankara usually attract attention in determining the attention in question. However, broadcasting activities carried out in Anatolian cities outside of these big cities remain in the background. Literary activities carried out in the provinces were often overlooked by the press centers. Davran magazine, which was published in Kayseri in 1948, contains the works of writers and poets who were under the political and intellectual influences of the years it was published.The names in the writer staff of the journal generally have Turkist ideas. In many articles, harsh criticisms are made against the communist activities carried out throughout the country and the politicians who at least ignore these activities. With this article, the content of the magazine will be evaluated in terms of the Turkism movements that developed in the aforementioned years, and the references to Kemalism and Ziya Gökalp's ideas will be analyzed.
