In the historical process, the Mongolian language spread over a wide area by influencing languages of various nations. As a result of the linguistic effects of the Mongolian expansion, many word elements from Mongolian entered the historical and contemporary Turkic language and dialects with quotations. The languages of the Kipchak Turks living in the Idil and Ural regions and Western Siberia were also significantly influenced by the Mongolian language. The vocabulary of loanwords in Turkish-Mongolian languages has been the subject of many scientific studies until today. However, it is seen that the studies on Tatar Turkish and Mongolian language relations are more limited. Therefore, it is of great importance to examine the common vocabulary of Tatar Turkish and Mongolian, one of the Kipchak group dialects. In this article, the examination of the verbs belonging to the “A-E” items common in Tatar Turkish and Mongolian from the perspective of historical and contemporary Turkish dialects is analyzed. The aim of the study is to determine the vocabulary of common verbs in Tatar Turkish and Mongolian and to reveal their semantic features. The study material was determined by scanning method from existing dictionaries published in both languages. Thirty-six verbs identified in the study were compared with the historical and contemporary forms of the Turkish language. Within the scope of the study, no definite conclusions were drawn about the origin of each verb, and the words that linguists could clearly distinguish from Mongolian origins in the vocabulary were marked. However, some verbs that are not quoted or shown in common with Mongolian language, but thought to be similar to Mongolian, have been identified and marked. Thus, it has been determined that there are significant similarities in terms of both structure and meaning in some of the common verbs in Tatar Turkish and Mongolian.
