Edebî eserler bize insana ve yaşama ilişkin gerçekliğin sanatçı duyarlığı ile kurgulanmış örneklerini sunar. Edebî eserlerde; ait oldukları toplumun başından geçen olaylar, o toplumun yaşadığı sorunlar, çektiği sıkıntılar ve daha birçok olgu bulunur. Bu yönüyle bakıldığında edebî eserlerdeki toplumsal sorunlar, içinden çıktıkları toplumun niteliklerine ilişkin bilgiler içerir. Çocuk edebiyatının önemli bir amacı da hedef kitlesi olan çocuklara içinde yaşadıkları toplumun sorunlarını duyumsatmaktır. Toplumcu gerçekçi bir yazar olan Rıfat Ilgaz, yetişkinlerin yanı sıra çocuklar için de kitaplar yazmıştır. “Bacaksız Serisi”, Ilgaz’ın çocuklar için yazdığı beş kitaptan oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Rıfat Ilgaz’ın Bacaksız Serisi’nde yer alan romanlarda hangi toplumsal sorunlara yer verildiğini belirlemektir. Tarama modeline dayalı bu çalışmada Rıfat Ilgaz’ın “Bacaksız Serisi”nde yer alan “Bacaksız Kamyon Sürücüsü”, “Bacaksız Okulda”, “Bacaksız Paralı Atlet”, “Bacaksız Sigara Kaçakçısı”, “Bacaksız Tatil Köyünde” adlı beş çocuk romanı; “içerik çözümlemesi” yöntemlerinden “kategorisel çözümleme” yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. Ana kategoriler Sipahioğlu (2015)’nun çalışması dikkate alınarak “siyasi sorunlar”, “ekonomik sorunlar”, “aile sorunları”, “dinî sorunlar”, “eğitim sorunları” ve “kültürel sorunlar” şeklinde belirlenmiştir. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde sıklık ve yüzde hesaplamaları yapılmıştır. Çözümleme sonucunda frekansı en yüksek kategorinin büyük farkla ekonomik sorunlar olduğu, onu sırasıyla eğitim sorunları ve aile sorunlarının izlediği, en düşük oranda ise siyasal sorunların yer aldığı belirlenmiştir. İncelenen romanlarda dinî sorunlar ile kültürel sorunlara ilişkin verilere rastlanmamıştır.

Toplumsal sorun, Rıfat Ilgaz, Bacaksız Serisi

Literary works offer us the examples of the reality of human and life, plotted with artistic sensitivity and these works are a reflection of the society they belong to. Literary works issue the events of the society they belong to, the problems and troubles that society face and many more. From this point of view, social problems in literary works enlighten the characteristics of the society they come from. One of the main goals of children’s literature is to make them feel the problems of the society they live in. Rıfat Ilgaz, a socialist realist writer, wrote books for children as well as adults. “Bacaksız Serisi” consists of five books written by Ilgaz for children.The aim of this study is to determine which social problems are studied in the novels in Rıfat Ilgaz’s Bacaksız Serisi. In this study based on the scanning model, five children’s novels “Bacaksız Kamyon Sürücüsü”, “Bacaksız Okulda”, “Bacaksız Paralı Atlet”, “Bacaksız Sigara Kaçakçısı”, “Bacaksız Tatil Köyünde” in Rıfat Ilgaz’s “Bacaksız Serisi ” were analyzed with the “categorical analysis” method which is one of the methods of “content analysis”. The main categories were determined as “political problems”, “economic problems”, “family problems”, “religious problems”, “educational problems” and “cultural problems”, cited by the study of Sipahioğlu (2015). Frequency and percentage calculations were made in the analysis of the data. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the category with the highest frequency was economic problems, followed by educational problems and family problems and political problems were the lowest. In the analyzed novels, there were no data on religious and cultural problems.
