This study aims to determine the perceptions of religious culture and ethics teachers regarding the level of middle school principals’ fulfillment of their supervisory duties in teacher inspections. In this study, general screening model was used as a method. The population of the study includes 645 religious culture and ethics teachers working in middle schools in Mersin Province. In this study, the sample includes all teachers in the population. In order to collect the data, The Scale of Teachers’ Perceptions About Teachers Supervision, which was developed by Gökalp, was used. In the study, data was collected by 420 teachers participating in the study by answering the questions in the scale. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS and using mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way analysis of variance. Teacher perceptions were compared in terms of variables such as seniority, education level, career stages and the higher education institution from which they graduated. In this study, according to teachers’ perceptions, the level of middle school principals’ ability to fulfill their supervisory duties regarding teacher inspection was found to be low. It was analyzed whether there was a significant difference between teachers’ perceptions in terms of the variables of seniority, education level, career stages and the higher education institution graduated from, and a significant difference was detected between teacher perceptions in terms of these variables.
