In the 17th century, humor magazines emerged in Europe, but due to the delayed introduction of printing presses to our country, they began to make their presence felt in Ottoman territories after the 1860s. These magazines, addressing social and cultural events in an entertaining manner, diversified further in the 19th century with advancements in printing techniques and distribution, reaching a wide readership. This process, extending from Tanzimat to the present, led to scholarly works, including postgraduate studies, articles, papers, and books, focusing on humor magazines and newspapers. Beyond the research, presenting these studies collectively to the scientific community has become crucial, giving rise to the need for bibliographic efforts. This study is an attempt at a bibliography covering postgraduate studies on humor magazines and newspapers in our country. The study consists of two parts: Introduction and Bibliography. The Introduction briefly discusses topics such as bibliography, magazines, humor, and humor magazines. The Bibliography section categorizes works into two categories: Master's Theses and Doctoral Dissertations. It is structured based on a year-by-year analysis of the changes in studies, identified through searches using tags such as "humor magazine, humor newspaper, humor press, humor, satire" on the Council of Higher Education National Thesis Center website. Entries are alphabetically arranged and titled according to the year to emphasize changes over time. Additionally, within this section, studies are further classified based on the names of the magazines/newspapers they focus on. The aim of the study is to gather postgraduate works related to humor magazines and newspapers, demonstrate the subjects they cover, introduce them to relevant researchers in the field, and thereby facilitate researchers working on humor magazines and newspapers to access sources in a centralized manner. As a result of the study, a total of 149 postgraduate works related to humor magazines and newspapers in our country have been identified, comprising 129 master's theses and 20 doctoral theses.
